Quality Assurance
Zero-Defect Manufacturing
At Dharma Metal Alloys, quality is not just a department — it's a culture. Every brass component we manufacture undergoes a rigorous multi-stage quality assurance process to ensure it meets the highest international standards before reaching our customers.
Our dedicated quality team uses advanced inspection equipment including coordinate measuring machines (CMM), optical comparators, and spectrometers to verify dimensional accuracy, material composition, and surface finish at every production stage.
We follow a Total Quality Management (TQM) approach, continuously improving our processes to reduce waste, minimize defects, and exceed customer expectations.

Our Quality Process
Every component passes through four critical quality checkpoints before dispatch.
Raw Material Check
Incoming brass rods and billets are tested for chemical composition using spectrometer analysis. Only certified CW614N, CW617N, and equivalent alloys are accepted.
Precision Machining
CNC turning, milling, and threading are monitored with in-process gauging. Dimensional accuracy is maintained within ±0.01mm tolerance throughout the production run.
Finishing & Polishing
Components undergo deburring, tumbling, and surface finishing. Chrome plating, nickel plating, and natural polishing are performed per customer specifications.
Final Inspection
100% dimensional verification using CMM and go/no-go gauges. Pressure testing, leak testing, and visual inspection ensure zero-defect output for every shipment.
Testing Equipment
Our in-house quality lab is equipped with industry-leading inspection instruments.
Coordinate Measuring Machine
3D dimensional measurement with micron-level accuracy for complex geometries and tight-tolerance components.
Optical Emission Spectrometer
Rapid chemical analysis of brass alloy composition to ensure material compliance with EN, ASTM, and JIS standards.
Hardness Tester
Rockwell and Vickers hardness testing to verify material strength and heat treatment quality of finished parts.
Profile Projector
Optical comparator for shadow-graph inspection of thread profiles, contours, and surface features.
Pressure Testing Machine
Hydrostatic pressure testing for valves and fittings up to 60 bar to ensure leak-free performance.
Coating Thickness Gauge
Non-destructive measurement of chrome and nickel plating thickness for surface finish quality control.
